Churches and schedules

Church lists come from the official websites of Catholic dioceses, eparchies and the Personal Ordinariate. Schedules come from each parish's own website and bulletin, parish staff, and reviewed visitor submissions. Each schedule links to its source.

We never use other Mass-finder websites or apps as a source or cross-check.

Maps

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Map tiles are based on OpenStreetMap data.

Cities and ZIP codes

City and ZIP code search uses the US Census Bureau Gazetteer files, which are in the public domain.

Photos

Church photos are uploaded by parishes, who confirm they may share them, or come from Wikimedia Commons under open licenses, with the author and license shown next to each photo.

Liturgical calendar

Celebration names and holy days follow the General Roman Calendar and the proper calendar for the dioceses of the United States. Daily readings link to the USCCB website.
